There are a few designers who can go head-to-head with Rei Kawakubo in the matter of designs that exceed the borders of artistry and blur the fine lines between haute couture and a streetwear style. Thanks to the support of Junya Watanabe, the Nike collection was launched in 1999 with the Zoom Haven sneaker, and today it is triumphing worldwide with the likes of Shox TL and Air Mowabb models. The superior design of women's shoes, sporting deconstructed uppers clad in monochrome colors, perfectly captures the aesthetics of this collaboration which escapes standard classifications.
