boutique - Kenzo Pop Up

Kenzo is a Parisian fashion house with a long tradition that was created in 1970 by Kenzo Takada. One of the world’s most luxurious brands sets the fashion trends since its projects blend Asian and European motifs.

Takada who became a linguist by a whisker, developed his passion in Japan’s Bunka Fashion College and then in Paris. He opened his first boutique ‘Jungle Jap’ in Paris that was re-named into Kenzo later.

The Japanese designer started with handmade women’s clothing and later in the mid-1980s decided to start designing menswear and kids clothing and home collections.

Kenzo’s audacious projects with an abundance of colors, patterns and original silhouettes made a whole world go mad over them. A jungle and rain forest motifs and a tiger became brand’s distinctive features and symbols known by everyone.

Besides clothing, Kenzo offers perfumes as well. ‘Kenzo Parfums’ line was launched in 1988 and we can treat ourselves with original fragrances from the acclaimed Japanese to this day.

Currently, the brand belongs to a luxury goods conglomerate LVMH. Label’s latest collections introduce a breath of fresh air and a dose of avant-garde to the fashion world.
