In homage to our childhood, designers have reinterpreted elements of the school uniform and, in their autumn-winter collections, presented us with their own, often non-obvious vision of a uniform for our times. Wool vests, pleated skirts and oxford shirts gained a unique character through the use of eye-catching details and avant-garde accessories. It was the patterned ties, novelty tights and knee socks that made these seemingly ordinary styles the most coveted trend of the season. After the micro skirts that reigned supreme at the spring shows, it's time for the exclusive and perfect for colder days maxi length. The designs reaching almost to the ground particularly dominated the Saint Laurent collection, in which Anthony Vaccarello presented us the now-trending length in an extremely sensual and elegant way.
