The New LV Ski Collection:
A Dynamic Winter Wardrobe

Skiwear is a culture of craftsmanship in its own right: a specific wardrobe freely adaptable across environments and lifestyles. LV Ski returns as a combined women’s and men’s collection that delivers active style and peak versatility. Innovative technical materials highlight the bold, streamlined looks for women and the performance design that extends across the men’s range, as LV Ski spans ready-to-wear, leather goods, shoes and accessories. From sophisticated alpine ensembles complete with Monogram helmets and ski masks, to silhouettes that stand out beyond the slopes, Louis Vuitton takes ski and après ski wear to new heights for winter ’23-24.

For women, outerwear reimagines sport uniform influences with an elevated edge. Graphic motifs freshly interpret the Monogram and Louis Vuitton signatures on down-filled jackets and polished parkas. These winterised volumes are worn over slim ski suits and sporty knit layers that fit close to the body. Ski pants, technical trousers, and contoured leggings create different silhouettes, enlarging the wardrobe possibilities for going out or staying in. With intense red, deep navy, glacial blue, and crisp white and black, the palette is at once classic and contemporary. The LV Flocon logo reappears across the collection, its original design conjuring both a snowflake and the Monogram flower.

Accessories enhance each look with warmth and style, whether wraparound scarves patterned with LV medallions – both tonal and colour-blocked – in sumptuous wool, or a shearling collar that hugs the neck. In addition to signature gloves, hats are essential and include caps in Monogram flannel, a shearling bucket hat and ribbed beanies. Ski masks in gradient solar hues offer maximum coverage for winter glare while lighter sunglasses with Monogram lenses can be worn with everyday ease.

The women’s wardrobe is complemented with a selection of iconic bags. Shearling sends a playful winter message, whether covering a backpack or simply the handle of the Capucines, just as the latest Coussin bags echo the colourful reflections of ski goggles. The LV Twist is proposed in two shades of padded nylon, navy and vivid red, both embellished with graphic straps. In black nylon, the Speedy will prove highly practical through the season.

Chic footwear is meant to endure the elements. Ruby is a Chelsea boot trimmed in shearling with a thick rubber outsole for height. Aspen is a thick-soled ankle boot in two variations: a warm beige après-ski style detailed with a Lozine strap inspired by Louis Vuitton trunks, and an all-purpose alpine style with lacing.

For men, the look is rugged yet refined and defined by the outerwear that emphasises technical details and padding to maintain warmth. A ski parka in black breakage topstitching with matching trousers in calfskin leather. This motif, inspired by the aerial graphics of ice landscapes and glaciers, appears on a black and white puffer ski suit, in a fleece and placed on a cotton sweatshirt.

Patterns extend across the collection: underlayers, such as fitted jackets and gilets are emblazoned with slope-like patterns; an alpine mohair cardigan with a sky and mountain motif suggests an abstracted Fair Isle, and a polar geometric pattern appears in knitwear. There are also several luxuriously cosy pieces that lean towards après-ski or weekend dressing, such as a knitted jacket with a removable shearling collar.

The selection of bags corresponds to a skiwear wardrobe. A soft shoulder bag in optical white with black trims crafted in water repellent Monogram coated canvas features technical zips. As a winter-specific twist, the Maison reimagines its emblematic Keepall from a technical and performance point of view, while a backpack, a crossbody bag, and a flat bum-bag with an LV buckle detail cater to the necessities of alpine leisure. Classic winter footwear receives the Louis Vuitton touch. In black structured and padded nylon, the LV Alpine boot features a side pocket, and plays on the exaggerated volume of the iconic LV Trainer sole. The LV Trainer Snow boot, a snowboard-inspired shoe, is reintroduced this season, in marine and white versions.

For après-ski, there are several options with faux fur. First, the LV Driver Monogram has been given a wintery feel using a faux shearling lining on a dark brown Monogram embossed suede upper. The LV Easy, an open-back slip-on shoe, is proposed in light blue embossed Monogram suede with furry lining, and in purple and fluo green Monogram on black faux fur. There is also the LV Shark clog, a comfortable style interpreted with faux fur removable lining. Finally, Louis Vuitton leans into the full ski universe by introducing a snowboard featuring glacier grey pattern and a pair of Monogram skis, available in 3 sizes, each with a bold red underside and handmade in the French Alps. The ultimate equipment for those true collectors who travel to the world’s finest slopes.
