Sonia Rykiel, a French designer, began her romance with fashion in the 1960s. Her first designs were devoted to maternity fashion. Loose models, reversible garments, pullovers, and above all – a love for knitwear brought Sonia Rykiel into the fashion elite. In addition to creating clothes, the Rykiel brand is also involved in perfume design. After the death of the charismatic designer, Julie de Libran took over the brand, and in her latest collection she returned to the unused designs of the founder.
