Description

Gold-tone bag chain by Marc Jacobs is a considered accessory that brings a polished, jewellery-like finish to a favourite bag. Crafted in metal with an aged, softly matte patina, it has a warm antique gold look that feels composed and distinctive.

The design is built from three separate chain strands joined by carabiners, combining different link sizes for a striking layered effect. Decorative charms, including a signet-style medallion, round plaques, a heart and a miniature padlock, add character, while the sturdy clasp and adjustable links offer both ease and versatility. Made from zinc and iron, it feels solid and reassuringly substantial.

Why choose this product?

The three-strand construction creates a bold decorative finish while keeping the bag secure.
The adjustable links allow you to adapt the length and attachment points with ease.
The substantial metal build offers reassuring support for medium to heavier bags.
The antique gold tone lends a distinctive retro-inspired accent to an everyday silhouette.
The mix of charms gives the piece a jewellery-like character that sets it apart.

What occasions does it suit?

It suits occasions when you want a bag to feel more composed and statement-making, from day-to-evening plans to polished social events.

What to wear it with?

It works well with structured bags in clean, understated finishes, where the chain can stand out as the main decorative detail.
